The Importance of Congo in the Energy Transition
The DRC will remain our source of cobalt where we start to see more countries both in Africa and abroad start to get more deeply involved in the politics as well as the stability of the Congo going forward. Yes, absolutely. I think given the importance particularly of cobalt but also copper which I talked about cobalt as being a critical mineral and metal for the energy transition. Copper is used to quite high proportions in a whole range of low carbon technologies so it's only common sense that over the in the coming years and decades Congo will become more important to outside actors and countries.
