How to Choose a Managed Provider for Your Code

Mercurial is new enough that it has really good support for transitioning to git. It depends what's in the repo, though, and you know, if you have useful commit messages in the history or is it all just like fixed thing or checked in the date then yeah, keeping that history maybe is not so worthwhile. I will say that I have been using GitHub for quite some time now. And to my great surprise, I feel that Microsoft has been an excellent steward for it. So I'm continuing to use it pretty happily.
