Leonardo's Bronze, a Monument to the Duke of Milan
Sculptor leonardo won the commission in 14 89, paid by the duke of milan. It was intended to be the largest equestrian statue in the world. The design process took almost a decade as he spent his days studying actual horses. Sadly for leonardo, he lost his 75 tons of bronze when war broke out in 14 94.
