Ryan O'Brien was drafted by the Oakland A's in 2010, but he didn't make any money. He became a realtor and then started flipping couches on Craigslist to earn some cash. After getting married last year, he made eight grand a month net just flipping couches. "The book would be called the broke Filipino way," says O'Brien.
