The Importance of Online Activists
I don't explore trauma as a concept, but I do deal with events that are have been traumatic. In chapter seven where I look at activism, I explore a young activist who is fighting back against a racist event on campus. For this student, they were not only traumatized by the party. They were also traumatized by their grades going down and feeling like my academic well-being has suffered because I'm the one fighting back instead of the school being the oneFighting back.
