Quantifying Uncertainty With Probability
I think people want to do things in a non-subjective way, but I like to talk to people about, well, there really is no non- Subjective way of doing things. And so once you have an open dialogue about all the subjectivity that goes into every process of collecting the data, the model selection, the analysis, you start to realize, okay, maybe the Bayesian statistics and the Bayesian framework, the subjectivity is sort of just all out there. You're not hiding it, which I like. So for me then I just like, again, quantifying uncertainty with probability. That's a very nice way to put it.
