When you're trying to plan color combinations and things is not only yes will the plants survive in your garden but also timing. I've got a massive row of agapanthers and that normally comes before the hydrangeas but the last couple of years they've all been coming together. This is my last year on this bed because I think we're going to have to go for shrubs and I found a beautiful pink pity of sporeum which is such a lovely color.
