The Relationship Between Overtones

The relationships between numbers in the harmonic overtone series are just like counting. Is this a clue to the nature of our existence and the universe? Did did the universe just learn to count? And from that everything we see, touch, smell and experience could be conjured. But what was the supposed big bang but the beginning of ace and time? Has it not stopped counting?
