The Importance of Hiring Great People
Uber is on its sixth fund right now. We're actually celebrating our 20 year anniversary this summer. Our sixth fund is a half billion dollar fund that invest in C to series A software companies across Europe or European founders abroad. And we tend to be high conviction low frequency investors. So most of us in the team that write checks do one to three investments a year on average, probably two. That means that you really have the time to work with those companies and help where they want help during those early years.
