Tardigrades Can Survive in Space
Tardigrades can survive temperatures below minus 200 degrees. They go into a state of extreme dehydration in which their metabolism comes to a complete halt. In this condition, they can even survive exposure to the vacuum of space. Recently, there was an Israeli spacecraft that crashed on the moon. It was carrying tardigrades for research purposes. Because of all these adaptations, genetic adaptations, evolutionary adaptations, that's what makes the tardigrade so incredibly tough and hardy.
