The Game of Meditation Is to Extricate Yourself From a Set of Thoughts That Entrap You
The game of meditation is to extricate yourself from being totally identified or trapped by those thoughts. For example, following your breath, start to follow your breath and the thought, my knee hurts. It's a thought that I can pick up from one or two minds through my psychic powers and my knee hurt. There's a thought. Now either that thought has the same reality, solidity, significance, importance as the breathing in, Breathing out. That's one strategy. Another is use one thought continuously like a drop of water to use as a focal point to begin to see all the rest of the thoughts around it so that the thoughts lose their control over you.
