The Importance of Commentaries in a Sermon

If I'm encountering a fairly technical or obscure thing in the text, I can look at it all day and there's a sense in which I just don't know. And so I use that to inform my study earlier on in the process. Some kind of things, the more simple facts they are, the less it matters if you look at the commentaries early on.
