The Role of Social Media in Islam
I think individuals that use the social media platform have to be very conscious of the way that they use it. When you have new Muslims who came to Islam for one truth and they find the Muslims are fighting online and using despicable terms, it can be very off-putting. You know, some of these online debates have led to people leaving Islam. And so the online world can play a major part, positive or negative. I believe many young men have become Muslim because of Andrutate - whether you agree with his views or not is besides the point.
