The Power of Exponential Growth

We may have reached the carrying capacity of our world with 8 billion people each consuming 10 times as much per person on average as the 650 million people that existed in 1700. The market votes for wealth rather than for an ozone layer. Right. And so because they aren't seen by the market, the market takes absolutely no account of them. You know, all those things that can't be owned. It's the fisheries and the ocean acidification and global warming and for a while the ozone layer. But now we've got to stop being on the exponential growth.
