Every band arguably that was in the new wave category in the 80s would have absolutely been the responsibility of a talking heads period. And then what's wild is those bands went on to inspire bands in the 90s like Niners Nails and Pearl Jam. If Brian, you know, didn't exist, there's no chance this band would become what it became in the popular what the fuck would music be right now? Like if alternate timeline like a Rick and Morty episode or something like that, you could go back. But the only change is Brian doesn't exist.
