Harry Hawker: A Humble Pilot and Brilliant Aeronautical Designer

The Battle of Britain was largely fought on Britain's part with Hawker Hurricane fighters. But how did this humble Australian come to have his name imprinted on an aircraft company? It is interesting that a man with solo education could become both a brilliant pilot and more interestingly, a brilliant aeronautical designer. And we can only put it down to the fact that he just had enormous intuitive ability.
