Painting the Cely Tolos
The legend is, and that's michelando was very good at generating his own legend, but is that he painted it all himself. The restoration work demonstrates that this is not completely untrue,. except in certain parts, relatively minor parts are done by my assistancs. And so you can follow his progress across the ceiling from the beginnings, where th al these technical problems, therea some parts that are not painted by him. He is working from drawings, from sketches and drawings directly on to the placa, which is is quite remarkable and possibly unprecedented at lhes ot the scale.
