Functional disorders can be caused by over-stimulation of the brain. Symptoms include dizziness, fatigue and speech problems. John stone is a neurology professor at the university of edinburgh in scotland. He says functional disorders should be on the table when people are diagnosed. But he doesn't think there's enough evidence for havana sindrum to qualify as a mass psychogenic illness. Some have even gone so far as to say it could be contagious.
