The Eraktas Committee's Unfitness for Purpose

I might vote for the shinners next time, if you don't mind, because they've been particularly good. The chair of the public accounts committee has been really good. It has exposed RTE as totally unfit for purpose. I mean, look, the other day with Mr Tobey, Mr Kelly, they must have been asked by at least 10 different TDs and senators across the committee hearings about the famous invoices to the bachelor company. But it would have been better if one member had come in and dissected that for 20 minutes or half an hour or whatever it took to get to the moment. So this is what the committee system does.
