The Mystical Experiences in Cutting and Cutting for Stone
So many of your characters in both cutting and cutting for stone have had mystical spiritual experiences. And I was wondering how can you write that if you haven't had yourself. Well I think I've had some, not quite as dramatic as some of them the characters have. In our postmodern world we're so exacting in the proof we want that we almost miss out on the richness of the mythical. Yeah it's why when our main character leaves home to be wed at 12 and she enters her new home and there's a ghost in the basement she just accepts that there's aghost in the basement.
