The Bank of England Holds Rates as Expected
The Bank of Japan held rates as expected, but its decision caps off a week of central bank moves that have set up markets for more monetary tightening in the months to come. The ECB hiking 25 basis points as expected; Christine Lagarde was undeniably hawkish. It's implying an almost 80% probability the ECB hiked two more times and hits 4%.
