The Role of Tradition in the Reformation

I'm not arguing for a generic Protestantism, but I also recognize the areas of overlap that I have with other Protestants. As one in the Lutheran tradition, just as Anglicans, we would have a much higher respect for the authority of tradition and traditional church rights than you find say in the Reformed tradition. Sometimes people say Anglicanism is really a via media, not between Rome and Protestantism,but between the reforms and Lutherans.
