Lightning's Proposal for Privacy Preserving Features

A lot of the features that we are finally shipping now have been discussed for years. People get excited about it, but they're not gonna be really cheap before years and It looks like some other things are very slow to arrive on lightning. So our goal there are a lot of things that really need to be done at the protocol level and will take a long time to ship. But what we are trying to add right now are big Building blocks that can then let people build new stuff build cool stuff without too many protocol changes.
