The Bydon Administration's Response to China's Economic Stuttering

It seems like there are plenty of economic levers as well, and the bine administration just doesn't seem to be doing of this. So my view is that economic leverage is very difficult to turn into really significant political outcomes. I don't think it will work for china to cut off trade with japan because also, economic sanctions like that are very difficult to make superadvantageous. But once we get the military balance right, we will be able to negotiate that stuff too.
