The Politics of Church

French church was deeply politically ambitious and he wanted to be president or at the very least chairman of the Center for in Relations Committee. The press had a field deck with him because they immediately said oh he's just doing this committee to run for president and so that was the central problem for the press coverage of church. He was able to divide in his own mind both his political side and his more radical side and that's what makes him so interesting and so complicated I think is something that you don't see in America very much anymore.
