Pierre Cory says he was shocked to read that the FDA wouldn't approve a new drug for heart patients. The agency said it needed more research before making any decisions about whether or not to recommend an alternative treatment. "It takes it out of use, ot of recommendation by the w h o at a time where thousands and thousands of people are dying every day," Pierre Cory told CNN.
