The Acropolis Museum and the British Museum

If the Greek government were to recognise the fact that the British Museum legally owns... I think it would start as a loan. All museums have collections larger than they are able to display at any one time. You can't learn the full history of anything just from what one museum's account of it. By going to the Acropolis Museum, I learned an awful lot more about Lord Elgin and the process by which they were removed in 1801.
