Is LIDAR Better?

It's been uncharacteristically rainy during summer in Australia, which just sucks. I want summer to be sunny and warm. We got a follow up from someone on the LIDAR situation. They said that night driving, cameras will struggle in low light settings or no light with sudden light of oncoming cars. LIDAR is not weather dependent. It doesn't necessarily require AI,. like cameras can be deterministic algorithms, like radar. So for all of the above reasons is why it's considered more reliable.
