The Name of the Prophets

First and second David would be, I think more appropriate name as far as the content goes. The man after whom both these books are named dies in chapter 25 of the first volume. He's a pivotal figure between that crazy period of the judges and the coming period of the monarchy. So it's kind of strange like, why would they name these books after this guy? Well, there's probably a couple reasons.
