Teenage Anxiety and Tick Talk
Parents are trying to understand the difference between a real crisis and normal teenage angst. It does seem like at least in some parts of the country that it's almost trendy for kids to identify themselves as having a mental illness there are tick talks where people talk about my anxiety. There just seems to be a conundrum because on the one hand there's this rise in depression anxiety and unfortunately suicide but there also seems to be A decrease in the stigma against talking about mental health and seeking care. The first thing I would say is that if you're going to make an error, it's better to take very seriously something that turns out to have been just a stupid manipulation rather than getting it wrong with someone
