Are Flytraps Native to the Panhandle of Florida?

In the wild, they mostly eat spiders and crawling insects. It's become a federal law to poach them. The good news is people are not poaching them because it's much easier to propagate them through tissue culture. They were introduced into Florida about 40 years ago by someone who sewed some venus flygh traps in the panhandle of florida.
