Does Baptism Save Cornelius?

Baptism did not save cornelius, just as faith in the risen divine christ did not save mus a k a, the good thief on the cross. Dismus is an exception for the rule of salvation by faitha because here it's very clear, jesus says, to day you'll be with me in paradise. But i find very little or no evidence that dismus believed that jesus was divine. He certainly hadn't risen from the dead yet. Yet he was saved. So i guess that's how i we'd look at i would say, baptism did not save Cornelius, but ta doesn'tify the general thought,. Iience my thought,
