Do We Have the Right Vocabulary?

We probably don't have the right vocabulary and concepts to do have a satisfying explanation for how brains and minds are related. We need more terminology and tools that have to do with complex, emergent systems and their dynamics. For example, i often hear computational nervos science s talking about brain states.
