Are There Perfumes That Smell Like Flowers?

Until basically the late seven ten hundreds or early 18 hundreds, smells were very personal. Good smells, pleasant smells, were a force for good. Bad smells denoted no disease, bad things, evil and so on. People turned to rosemary and oranges and lavender because they smelled good. They had uplifting fragrances that they felt would help counteract that evil, invisible thing that was making everybody sick.
