The History of Astronomy

Using the scientific method, we're getting closer and closer to understanding how the world actually works. So in other words, you think science is a means by which to find out what the universe is really like? Sure. Well, that might be true, and a lot of people think it is, but it's not super obvious that that's the only possible interpretation. We'll talk about an example that comes from astronomy as it was practiced in the Middle Ages.
