Santos Dumant - The Greatest Feat in Aeronautics
Inventor Santos dumant won the douch prize for his airship design. He went from being a charming local curiosity to an international celebrity. Gingerbread men that were decorated with moustaches, pin striped suits and white panam hats became the most popular cookies in the city. Toy shops throughout paris started to carry a miniature replica of the number six airship. This fame would continue over the next few years as santos developed newer and better airships. The most memorable of all of these had to be airship number nine. It was a small dirigible meant to be flown at low altitudes with a three horse power engine which could be easily controlled by one
