Can You Divorce Your Wife?

In Deuteronomy 24, Moses gives a concession that if you're going to divorce your wife, give her a certificate of divorce. Jesus says he didn't command it, he permitted it because of the hardness of your hearts. You have this interaction between the reality of human fallenness, God's ideal for humanity, and God triaging us towards the ideal.
