Sexlis and videotype is not berta luci's last tango in paris, which mixed myth with the lure of redemption. Both movies dramatize women who have essentially given up on getting pleasure from men. Maybe the men anne and sally pair up with will change thats, but we don't really have evidence that they do. For two films that discuss sex in depth, neither makes room in its story for their female protagonist to talk about whether or not the relationships they end the movie in are more satisfying than the orgasm free relationships of their past.
