Can She Find a Way to Get Out of This?
Sturgeon has been in politics for 16 years, or ministerial office, and then politics before that. Her electoral successes back her as arguably the most successful party leader of our generation. But I also think that she talks about the personal cost to her. For me, it is now in danger of becoming too long. Our first minister is never off duty, particularly in this day and age. You become this sort of red button name for people who just hate one issue or another issue. And I bet it does actually get absolutely exhausting. The country deserves nothing less.
