The Role of Adaptation in Climate Change Impacts

The IPCC predicts that if the world warms by two degrees by the end of the century, up to three billion people are projected to experience chronic water scarcity due to droughts. Balshir Singh Sito is a postdoctoral research fellow at the Institute for Resources, Environment and Sustainability in Canada. He was part of a team of researchers who reviewed over 1800 documented case studies that assessed adaptation to climate change across the world since the previous report came out in 2014.
