The Challenge of Geography in the Battle of Kheema
The battle in Kheema was at the end of a long line of communication for the 14th army that ran back to Calcutta, another 800 miles away. This part of India, Eastern India, was very poorly served with any form of transport infrastructure. There were many of the ferries and boats that would normally populate the river were gone. And it's worth just going into another little psych conversation to explain the challenge of geography this really was significant.
