Treating a Degenerative Subtailor Joint
If you're looking to treat these surgically many you've exhausted all of your non-operative treatment options and what some of the surgical options that you have especially in the teenager. What you can do is put something in between where those two bones were so it can be bone wax or some people put a little piece of fat to interposition in there but if you have a degenerative subtailor joint then you'll be looking at an arthrodesis.
