The last half of the book is consumed by the corporate machinations that anna dealt with at vogue and sort of the decline of the magazin editor as a cultural arbiter. I have to say, putting together a magazine is really fun, that thing, and where you get the right line and the pictures really telling the story. And i'm just hoping it's going to be a blip, and the pendulum somehow will switch back.
