mag ani: We don't know what's going to turn around the six cities we look at of baltimore, cleveland, detroit, philadelphia, pittsburg, saint louis. The economic perspective here is to try to use our knowledge about what incentives people face to add lever to policy intenventions,. right? To make policy interventions more effective. And i think there's a lot to dig in in the book. So they're all in in sort of this northeaster rustfelt region of the us. All old. They've seen population decline. They've all seen rising rates poverty, violent crime and environmental issues.
