The Role of the Arylhydric Carbon Receptor in Food Allergy
The arylhydric carbon receptor is involved in creating tolerance to various foods. When you consume tryptophan, your body will break that down into what's called indol. And again, you don't have to understand what that means, but these indol's activate this receptor. This makes the gut less leaky and it increases the tight junctions. It also activates a whole bunch of detox pathways. A lot of people with food sensitivities are more sensitive to foreign chemicals.
