In his 20 years in markets, I haven't met the mythical creature called rational human being. You and me are not rational. Basically we have fight or flight response. That gives us interesting opportunity if we can marry data, economic theory and human behavior. We can spot opportunities which with the help of rigorous data analysis, data science techniques and computational capabilities to figure out what are the inefficiencies in the market and how to take advantage of that. It's been around for ages. What is different is our approach to factor quant. And that's what differentiates us from the street is that data can tell you a lot of things.
