A Medical Interpreter's Interview With San Meat Core
Michael's family came to England in 2000, just before the war on terror. They spoke a mixture of Farsi and Punjabi which they called Garbly. None of them could speak English so went straight into school without speaking it. Michael says he was surrounded by white kids who weren't very nice. He also witnessed racism happening that his parents were going through.
