The Tension Between the Ideal and the Real in Academic Medicine
I think faculty who are put off by that and want to see the world as it should be are missing out on how things really are. And this potentially could lead to ineffectiveness, lack of ability to move their professional goals forward. So I think, yeah, you're so right, Rachel. That is definitely a tension that I feel personally. It's the ideal versus the real.
