I feel like we're at a very nihilistic point in software development because all the things that we thought were true about software development are kind of not true anymore. And so I would correlate that with the rise of the dynamically typed languages, which is like nothing matters. Why bother? No spec, no anything. And we're entering the age of nuance, I hope. It's okay that your reality didn't start out clean. Nothing is clean and perfect. Right. We'll have guidance frameworks for thinking about the world. Some of it looks like what you're doing with rock. I hope some of it look like what we're doing at a Kita," he says.
