Young men are vulnerable to kind of quick visions of ways in which the self help discourse of how you can be, like Jordan Peterson offers he's actually responding to a legitimate kind of crisis and problem among young men. The real purpose of insisting that certain of the most important political, you know decision making economic qualities reside with men is obviously to buttress patriarchy. But it's kind of impossible to do that really except as a kind of cartoon character of ultra machismo that we're analyzing. And so what this whole gendering analysis and I think you're absolutely right that the left should focus more on these issues.
